Be realistic about your child's ability.

Help your child set realistic goals.

Emphasize "improved" performance, not winning.

Don't relive your own athletic past through your child.

Provide a safe environment for training and competition.

Control your emotions at games and events.

Be a "cheerleader" for your child and other children on the team.

Respect your child's coaches. Communicate with them in a positive manner. (Always get both sides of the story.)

Be a positive role model.

School Song
I-C-M-S. . . .We are the best.
We are the best in all the land.
We stand with pride. . . side by side.
Sup-port each other hand-in-hand.
Our colors red and white and blue.
Show that we love our coun-try, too.
I-C-M-S, for-ev-er-more the best.
We’re Pa-triots through and through!
I-C-M-S, for-ev-er-more the best.
We’re Pa-triots through and through!
